Silverado Senior Living

The community is very nice and friendly. The staff answers all my questions. The communication is very good between the staff and the families and they keep us well informed I would recommend this community to others. Overall the community has done a great job

Very nice Memory care facility, under new management, 52 bed like new infrastructure, wide halls, clean, good lighting, well organized, 3 secure courtyards (outdoor areas), rooms are larger nice private studio (with twin bed, night stand, and dresser if desired, or use your own furniture) includes closet, utility, & internet provided, large private bathroom have wheel chair shower with seat & multiple grab bars for safety of residents, all residents I saw at dinner table area looked like they had good hygiene, most all services are inclusive with monthly fee. No Medicaid spin down.

Beverly Place is nice but seems to be the most expensive of Silverado's in the area. My mom needs more care which means additional costs for dressing, bathing, hygiene that you add on to the monthly rate. This is frustrating because you get the idea that everything's included as the disease progresses but it's not.

I toured here a while ago. I thought the place was interesting and they seemed to have a lot of activities but it wasn’t convenient in regards to the location. I thought the person that gave us the tour was nice and knowledgeable about the type of care that my Dad would need. I know they have plenty of events that they put on and even after we decided not to move my Dad in, they would invite us to participate. They have car shows and there’s even a pony that lives there. It was nice, just not for us.

Silverado has been great for my loved one. It's been working out really well. Silverado has a large, friendly staff, and the place is extremely well run. My loved one was previously at another community that did not work out well at all, so Silverado is a relief. I'd recommend it to others.

My mother in law is doing very well here much better than the last community she was at. It was a little bit of an adjustment. They are providing very good care of her we are extremely pleased with the whole community. They have her doing more activities and getting more involved in things. She has not complained about the food. The community is well kept and very clean. We would recommend this community

Silverado Newport Mesa was a very nice community. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They offered a lot of amenities for the residents. We chose another community based on our loved one's needs.

This looked like a very nice community when I visited. The person that took us on tour was nice. This community has five community service dogs. We would have chosen this community, however it was priced higher than what we were looking for.

My mother was only at this community for a short period of time but while she was there I was pleased with the care that she had received. The staff where always so kind to not only her but our entire family and I was comfortable with the care she was receiving. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

My dad enjoys staying here. The staff is nice they interact and care about the residents. The residents seem to enjoy being here. They offer a variety of things to do. The food is good. The community is clean and well maintained.

My dad is doing great, it was a little adjustment at first but going good now. We love the facility. It is bright and airy and there is more for them to do. They were my favorite when touring. I like that they can go outside and walk in the garden when he wants. They also have a mini golf course and he loves golf. The staff answer any calls and texts. He is starting to get involved with the activities and they sent us some picture of him being involved. He is eating all of the meals and it looks good and pretty healthy.

My loved one was recently in this community and I have no complaints of how things went for her while she was there. The staff where excellent to work with and I was very comfortable with the care they provided my grandmother. They kept in good communication about her care and made sure to answer any questions we had for them during her stay. I would recommend them to anyone interested in assisted living for there loved one.

My mother has recently moved into this community and she has been adjusting well. The staff are all very friendly and I could have not picked a better group to care for her in her new living environment. She has had no complaints about the meals and I am hoping to see her get more involved with some of the activities when she gets more settled. Overall we are extremely happy with how things are going and would recommend it to anyone.

My loved one has recently made the move into this community and even though he had a rough start the staff have done a great job at getting him adjusted. [Removed] has been amazing, she has worked closely with him as well as our family to make sure his needs are being met and that he is comfortable in his new living environment. My dad has been making friends and I already see improvement in him which makes me very happy. Overall I am very pleased with everything and I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a very good tour a while back of Silverado The Huntington. The tour guide was friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the approach they have to memory care. The facility was very clean, but the resident's rooms were small. I wasn't sure that my Mom being an introvert would fit well with Silverado's emphasis on social interaction. It was also quite expensive.

My Husband seems to be adjusting well to living at Silverado. The staff are nice and they are specially trained to care for dementia residents. They have a broad plan of activities and he enjoys the music. The food is ok and the community is clean. There are times where the community does seem understaffed. I would recommend this community.

I thought this community was really nice and had a lot of great amenities to offer all of there residents. They had an open floor plan with wide hallways which I thought would make things easier for people to navigate through the building. They had a meal plan available as well as a great activity list to keep the residents busy throughout the week. It was just not the right fit for my wife.

My mother is having a hard time adjusting, but the staff seems to be very attentive. Right now, they only have about 12 residents so they give my mother a lot of attention, but I am worried about what will happen when they get more residents. I hope they will still be able to provide her the same care. The community us clean and organized. It has been a good experience!

I would recommend this community to anyone who can afford it. It is the Cadillac of Memory Care.

Silverado is not spectacular on the outside however it is all about the structure inside. Their tailored plans for each of the clients, the 72 hour buddy system as well as having domestic animals mingle with their clients makes this the total package. Unfortunately, no matter how I look at it, it is not affordable. My only regret is that I was not born rich as 96,000/year is steep. And that is the only reason I rated Silverado a 4 - affordability needs to be part of the equation
