for the most part our carers were terrific. We did have a few who were not skilled in assisting our mom with hygiene issues, toileting and/or changing her clothes and soiled undergarments, and most significantly her bedding, although clean bedding was made readily available. There was a definite lack of knowledge and awareness as to appropriate procedures under those particular circumstances. We found this very troubling considering the possibility of urinary tract infection, pink eye, or other bacterial issues that might arise from unaddressed unsanitary conditions. All staff should be prepared to handle these situations when ministering to people of a certain cognitive level. It shouldn't be surprising to your staff members. This was our one disappointment that happened more than once with different people. Our Mom was not a difficult person to care for and this should have been a known possibility even if it was only occasionally (thank goodness!).

Home Instead from the first conversation said they could provide service even though it was 25 miles from Rochester. Other agencies said no right away. There has been some turnover, but Home Instead has been able to backfill in a reasonable amount of time. The employees have been wonderful to work with.

All of the staff who took care of my 88 year old father were wonderful. He enjoyed their company and the meals they made him. They took good care of his medical needs and were always very kind and caring with him. I felt very comfortable with their care and would highly recommend the service.

It has been our experience that communication with Cornerstone Care administrators and staff has been excellent. Our administrator is available 24-7. Billing and invoices are prompt and easily available by email. Above all, I have peace of mind that my family members in Cornerstone's care are safe and well cared for at home. Our Cornerstone Care caregivers have served our family with happy hearts for over a year. Their presence in our home is a blessing.

The care givers are great and take their job seriously. The staff is great also. They have a book of what they should be doing. They send care givers to your home. They are better than Cathlolic services.

We have had a great experience with Seniors Helping Seniors. They are thorough, responsive and they work hard to accommodate any special circumstances. I would recommend them to anyone. I was with another agency and they did not workout at all for me. I was referred to [name removed] at [name removed] and he immediately came out to see me to start providing care. My caregiver [name removed] has been wonderful. She come to help me / days per week.

2nd Family exhibited concern and caring for the needs of both my husband and myself. The caregivers they sent to our home were very kind and compassionate in how they cared for my husband. I have no complaints! After we no longer needed the services of 2nd Family, I received multiple calls to check not only on my husband but also on how I was doing. They let me know they would be there if we needed their support again. I highly recommend 2nd Family to anyone needing their services!
