Our health aide has been great! She has become like one of the family. She has a very good relationship with my husband with dementia. She gets him to exercise which I can't seem to do. She has been good for my husband, giving him companionship and keeping him active and among other people. Before the health aide my husband would just sit and stare out the window if no one was around. (Even with the curtains closed.) she helps him get groceries, get a haircut, go to the bank and hardware stores. She has been a big help to me freeing me up to go line dancing on one of her days and to take care of personal business. Home Instead has worked out very well for us.

Home Instead was very professional, they met with mom at while she was in the hospital and put her at ease about home care . I love that Home Instead's caregivers are background checked and insured . Mom's caregiver was a blessing at a time I could not be there to help her myself. She took mom to doctors appointments, prepared meals , and helped with household chores while she was recovering from a severe illness . As a healthcare professional myself, I always recommend Home Instead.

Most reliable home care company I have ever worked with. The communication with the office in Johnson City is amazing, they are ALWAYS available to answer the phone 24/7. Mixed group of clients and the facilities are kept up. Yes I would recommend FirstLight Home Care to other families, they were a great help in all kinds of things.
The caregivers from 7 sisters, we're very helpful. They would bathe and take care of my wife and afforded me the time 2 pay bills, grocery shop and do other personal. Errands, they were all Very helpful around the house. Even performing some basic cleaning chores. I would definitely do it this way again.
